Vikesh Amey Bhatt

This is my sixteenth year working in the creative industry; today, I creatively head up Grey London’s social and digital agency; Wildfire. My role is both working with senior management to identify creative focus, and also directing my own team to produce best in class work. I work not only with Wildfire, but also Grey and WPP to deliver creative work that integrates with the entire network.
I graduated from Ravensbourne College with a degree in Interaction Design, I began my career with a brief but typographically rewarding stint as a print designer before entering the agency world. I’ve spent the majority of my professional life in digital agencies including Imagination, glue, LBi, AnalogFolk, and Hi Mum! Said Dad, and have also have worked in experiential at Amplfy, client side at TATA Worldwide, and set up LBi’s Mumbai office.
I’ve led creative responses across the full breadth of digital creative projects - campaigns, social content, film, websites, apps, experiential, product design. My client list includes Chivas Regal, Plymouth Gin, HSBC, Dulux, Absolut and Google.
My work has been recognised by D&AD, New Designers, New York Art Directors Club and the Drum Content Awards. During the 2016 (?) UK election I made creative headlines with AnalogFolk's '10 Downing Tweet – an interactive installation that colourfully showed which parties were getting the most coverage Twitter, this correctly predicted the outcome of the election.
Mentoring is something that is important to me. Although positive changes are being made, I hope that future generations in our industry will be more diverse, and ultimately we’ll see more exciting work because of it. I am involved in mentoring with Ravensbourne, The London College of Arts, Cannt Festival and Trevor Robinson OBE Create Not Hate 2020 initiative.
After hours, I’ve been a judge for both D&AD and BIMA, and have participated in panel talks for Glug London and IAB.
